A letter from the candidate
Through much prayer, encouragement of my precious family and the support of trusted friends I have come to a place of decision. I am declaring my intention of seeking the seat for U.S. Congress of Georgia’s 4th District.
This decision didn’t come easily or lightly. But it comes from a heart moved by what I see going on around me. Every day I counsel people who are going through life altering situations. Situations over which they have no control, and in many cases worsened by government policies. Senior citizens are faced with having to re-enter the workforce as they have watched their retirements evaporate. Families are literally being torn apart, struggling to pay the bills, making choices many times between putting food on the table or paying their mortgage. Uncertainty and fear of the future has gripped our nation. All this while Washington has turned a deaf ear to focus on everything, but the main thing- we, the people! The day we live in has many challenges! Government decisions should NOT be a burden or impediment to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness!
Decisions should be based on values and common sense. But Washington and Georgia’s 4th District, has lacked leaders willing to make common sense decisions that will produce long-term stability. Short-term answers will not produce long term results. A phrase that has guided my life is, “Helping Make Decisions that Make A Difference!”
Quality decisions based upon values, bring quality change!
